From Dean of Students and Community Life.
Greetings,

As a student of the International Leadership University (ILU), you do have an opportunity to access services that are designed to enable you to be facilitated with quality University experience. The services we offer include the following.

Mr. Bill Dindi, Dean of Students and Community Life.

Student Placement and Immigration Coordination

This office helps International students to familiarize with and settle down in Kenya as foreign students. Upon arrival, we shall help you to meet the Kenya Immigration Office, as this is necessary for your understanding of government regulations on acquisition of Student Visa and other information needed for a comfortable stay while embarking on your studies at ILU.

Spiritual and Character Growth

We welcome you to join ILU Community, comprising of both staff and students for our weekly Chapel services every Wednesday during the August-December and January-April Semesters. Here, you are exposed to an atmosphere of community worship, fellowship as well as biblically and theologically sound sermons that will challenge you toward growth in your walk with the Lord. We also have regular prayer times, which we believe will be immensely valuable to all members of the ILU community, including the students.

Student Counselling

ILU Students

As they say, “life happens.” At ILU, we appreciate that life has its own twists and turns, ups and downs, challenges and opportunities. It is for that reason that each of ILU’s School takes seriously the issue of allocating academic advisors to our students to enable them to progress as successfully as possible, unexpected turn of events notwithstanding. ILU also recognizes that students may need psycho-socio support from time to time. For this reason, ILU’s School of Education and Social Sciences has a Counseling Center where students can obtain such services free of charge.

Student Association and Government

As a fully registered ILU student, you become a member of the International Leadership University Students association (ILUSA), which is coordinated by a duly elected Student Council. This Council plays a critical coordination role in the governance of student affairs and in enabling communication on matters that require the ILU administration’s intervention.

In Conclusion, I hope the foregoing information is helpful to you. We have every commitment to see to it that you feel you are an appreciated and important member of the ILU Community, hence the aforementioned student services, as well as others that we will talk about in future editions of this Newsletter. In the meantime, I wish you a memorable, significant and useful journey as you go through this phase of your life as a student at ILU. God bless you richly.

In His Mission,

Mr. Bill Dindi

Dean of Students and Community Life.

The International Leadership University Students Council newly elected team was sworn in on the 26th of August 2025 in an event facilitated by Mr. Bill Dindi, the ILU Dean of Students and Community Life, presided over by Advocate Justice Ngobia, ILU Legal Counsel.

At ILU, I believe true leadership goes beyond titles—it is rooted in Godliness, influence, purpose, and service. As students, we are not only gaining Biblical knowledge, but also being shaped in character, mindset, and skills to bring meaningful change in our communities and beyond. This year, under the theme “Positioned for Impact,” my team and I are embracing our unique roles, passions, and callings. Together, we are not just preparing for the future—we are actively shaping it. I encourage us all to stay focused, remain faithful, and be ready to lead with excellence wherever God positions us. Let’s make this season count—for His glory and for the generations we are called to impact. –Midwinter Nyambura, ILUSC President.
