CORAT Africa in partnership with International Leadership University invites you to participate in the 2nd Leadership Summit. This summit seeks to explore and strengthen the role of faith-based leadership and stewardship in shaping a dynamic, resilient, and impactful Church across the African continent. It offers a platform for reflection, dialogue, and collaboration on how Christ-centered leadership can address contemporary challenges, promote integrity, and foster holistic development within both ecclesial and societal contexts.
We are pleased to invite academics, administrators, educators, researchers, university students, church leaders, and other Christian community stakeholders to submit abstracts for paper presentations. We welcome scholarly and practice-based contributions that engage with the summit’s central theme and particularly in the following thematic areas:

Thematic areas:

1. The church’s role in rebuilding foundations for nationhood in challenging times
2. Reimagining the church in a digital/AI driven world
3. Intergenerational mentorship and succession
4. Leadership and Governance for resilient churches
5. Faith, culture and community: redefining the African Christian identity
6. Christian education in schools and communities
7. The care of Church leaders: Balance, boundaries, and retirement
8. Investment, asset management and fundraising: The sustainability task of
Church and Church run organizations

Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstracts should not exceed 300 words
  • Include title, author(s), institutional affiliation, and contact details
  • Please submit your Abstract to consultancy@coratafrica.com or info@kenya.ilu.edu or via the link
  • Full papers should be between 5,000-7,000 words, including references.
  • Full presentations should not be more than 20 minutes and 10 minutes for discussion. The presentations are expected in PowerPoint form.
  • After the conference, selected papers presented will be considered for publication in a refereed journal.
  • Papers and presentations must be original work and not under consideration by other publications.
  • All papers will undergo a double-blind peer review process.

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: 15th June 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance: 23rd June 2025
  • Full Paper Submission Deadline: 25th July 2025
  • PowerPoint submission deadline: 1st August 2025
